Bioidentical Hormone Replacement (BHRT) in Montgomery, AL

What is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy?

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy uses hormones that are chemically identical to those in the human body to resolve symptoms related to hormone imbalances and decline in hormones related to aging. These imbalances are becoming more and more frequent in today’s world, and the symptoms should not be ignored.

If you have experienced noticeable changes such as urinary incontinence, hot flashes, thinning hair, drier skin, exhaustion, mood swings, anxiety, trouble sleeping, memory issues, weight gain, or sexual dysfunction (also see O-Shot® and P-Shot®) we can determine, through specific testing, if your problems may be related to hormonal imbalances, or if they could be symptoms of an autoimmune disorder or nutritional issues.

Once we have a good picture of your overall hormonal health we can discuss treatment options including diet and lifestyle changes, supplements, and BHRT through procedures, such as pellet therapy, improving your hormone balance and returning you to a more functional lifestyle. We would love to discuss the ways we can help you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you determine if my hormones are the cause of my symptoms?

First, we will have you fill out a detailed questionnaire about your symptoms. Then, based on your answers, Dr. McWhorter will order specific tests to determine if your hormones are out of balance, or inadequate. These results of these tests will also let him know if he then needs to explore the possibility of autoimmune disorders or nutritional deficiencies.

Is this treatment available to non-members?

No. Continuing treatment for autoimmune disorders is not available to non-members. However, we do offer 1-hour consultations for non-members at the standard rate of $395.00, after which you may decide if you would like to become a member of our practice.

Please call our office for more information on membership levels. 334-819-8190
